Resources for Transitioning Members of the American Military Community and Businesses Hoping to Hire and Support Them
As we have done at times of change, turmoil or societal need (such as 9/11 or the gas crisis)—where business wants to respond, but also wants to know what other companies are doing—Families and Work Institute is responding to the need to help service men and women transition into the civilian workforce.
Please click here to tell us what your company or organization is doing to assist in this effort to:
- provide resources for transitioning military to assist in their job search or educational pursuits,
- train Human Resource professionals to better understand military rankings and skill sets,
- bring companies interested in hiring transitioning military together with suitable applicant pools, or
- support veterans, Guard and Reserve members and their families.
As we receive your information, we will make them available to the public, the media and the work life community knowing that, as in the past, they will serve as an important resource for hundreds of others who are determining their own strategies.
Thank you very much for all you are doing!
