Apply for the Award for Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility
Families and Work Institute
NEW YORK — Phased retirement, job sharing, alternative workweeks, burnout tracking.
These are just a few of the innovative programs offered by a host of employers who won Families and Work Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management’s Award for Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility last year.
If you think you’re a family-friendly employer, there’s still time to apply for the 2014 award. And even if you think you have room for improvement, when it comes to effective and flexible work programs, go through the application process anyway! It provides free feedback on how to improve.
Organizations that have created sustainable workplaces—sustaining productivity among employees in their work and personal lives—realize it’s a win-win for employers and employees.
You can apply for the 2014 awards here. The application process closes on Friday, April 11.
Our award (also known as the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility, named for the original funder of the award) is one of the most comprehensive and credible workplace distinctions in the country, garnering media attention and positioning our winners as winning employers for employees locally and nationwide.
