Work-Life Talks: Sylvia Ann Hewlett

Sylvia Ann Hewlett is president and CEO of Center for Talent Innovation and author of “Off-Ramps and On-Ramps.” She spoke at the Families and Work Institute’s Work Life Legacy Awards event held earlier this year where ten work-life/workplace pioneers were honored.

Hewlett discussing the career and earnings killer for women that is voluntary time off from work to care for children or elder family members. “The punishment does not fit the crime,” she stresses.
